Information supplied by participating medical provider groups is treated as highly confidential information and is used by Specialty Benchmarks for the purpose of reporting each medical provider group’s statistics regarding procedures, clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and other quality-of-care process metrics.
Specialty Benchmarks also compiles statistics based on information from the aggregate of all participating medical provider groups as benchmark information against which each participating medical provider group can compare its own statistics.
Information supplied by any participating medical provider group and statistics compiled by Specialty Benchmarks is not disclosed to any third-party non-participating entity unless directed by that medical provider group or required by law.
Specialty Benchmarks offers clients a number of options for secure transmission of their confidential information. Our web site and all web applications have been developed based on secure coding guidelines contained in the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Guide were applicable.
